The Marketing & Design Student Assistant at the South Carolina Honors College (SCHC) will assist with the creation of various projects associated with marketing, advertising and promotion of the college. Duties can entail graphic design, development of publications and websites, assisting in marketing plan development, management of social media, creation of video, and office administration as it pertains to assigned projects (e.g., processing paperwork, printing, etc.).

Skills Required:
Applicants must be familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, with proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop. Experience with DreamWeaver and FinalCut Pro is preferred but not required. They need to be able to work individually and in a team environment. They must be organized and have good communication skills. Additionally, applicants should be extremely creative and ready to think outside of the box. They should have a good understanding of social media and how its use can benefit the college. Web design and graphic design skills are crucial.
